Project Co-ordinator, Jane Brown, said: “Living with a drug or alcohol user can create a lot of stress and tension. The project is there to offer help and advice on ways to cope with someone’s drinking or drug taking.

“Family and friends can also play an important role in helping someone to recover from their addiction. We want to tackle the discrimination and stigma families and friends have to face and ensure there is support available when they need it.”
